The e-learning readiness audit and flowchart that I created for this course (to the left), demonstrates the overall complexity of relevant theories and applications. It also demonstrates my general uncertainty when it comes to the practical functioning of post-secondary institutions. While I put in a considerable amount of research into knowing different assessment frameworks, and while I attempted to apply the framework to an institution I am familiar with (an after-school tutoring agency), the final result becomes overwhelming and not very helpful. Part of the issue lies with the complexity of financing and preparing for e-learning, but the majority of the problem is due to my own limited exposure.
The final written product, linked through the flowchart, demonstrates my attempts to delve beyond the superficial level of auditing and get to some substantive analysis - with mixed success. The experience of seeing this project through provided me with a better understandings of the complexity of technological integration at a higher level.
